2005/06 The Federation of Associations connected to the International Humana People to People Movement (FAIHPP) signed a long-term cooperation agreement with Yunnan Poverty Alleviation and Development Office. Henceforth the ‘Humana People to People Cooperation Project Office of Yunnan Province’ (HPP CPO) was established to support poverty alleviation in Yunnan.
2007
04/2007, The HPP CPO was officially approved by the Yunnan Governor through the decision [2007] 89 of the Yunnan Province Organization Approval Committee Office.
01/2007, HPP CPO initiated its first project: the TCE HIV/AIDS prevention and control project in Linxiang District of Lincang City, Yunnan.
07/2007, Initiation of Yunnan Province Total Malaria Control (TCM) project.

06/2008, nitiation of the ‘HPP Comprehensive Poverty Alleviation Pilot Project (‘CPAP’) in Zhenkang County, Lincang Prefecture, Yunnan Province (the project contained the 3 sub projects ‘Farmers’ Clubs’, ‘Community Development’ and ‘Preschools of the Future’).
