As a teacher of the preschool in Guan Village, Qiaojia County, I am very glad that so many people pay attention to and supports the preschool education and health of our children in remote mountainous villages.

With the support of HPP, the Guan Village preschool have changed greatly. Besides, the implementation of the Children Nutrition Improvement Project makes us feel happy.

The Children Nutrition Improvement Project is a public welfare project in which Danone Early Life Nutrition donates to 3-6-year-old children in Qiaojia County nutrition packages conforming to national and local quality standards.

Receiving a large box of nutrition products specially distributed by the project team, the children and I were curious about these novel things, and we discussed with each other. Even someone asked what to do with these small bags, and whether they are really useful.

In fact, I was puzzled about this question at the beginning, but the project leader told me that this batch of nutritional products include nutrition packages, multi-dimensional nutrition tablets and compound nutrients, which are conducive to the healthy growth of children.

Before providing these supplements to the children, I need to inform the parents according to the project requirements and measure the children's height and weight, so as to facilitate the comprehensive comparison of the  impact of the project in future.

That day, when I came to the classroom with an electronic scale and a height ruler, the children immediately were excited  and expressed their opinions one after another.

"Teacher, haven't you done the measuring before?"

"Teacher, I feel I become much taller this month. Could you measure it for me please?"

After I measured the children's height and weight, the parents came to the playground one after another. I also invited the school principal and vice principal in charge of safety to participate in the project introduction meeting who introduced the specific situation and precautions of the children's nutrition improvement project to everyone. At the meeting, everyone unanimously expressed their support, and the parents also signed the informed consent form of the project.

The next day, when the children entered the classroom, they asked me when I would give them nutrition packages.

While going back to their seats, they kept staring at me with their heads tilted. They wondered:" is it delicious? is it bitter or sweet?"

After each child got the nutrition packages I sent them, they tore it carefully and slowly, and finally uncovered the mystery.

"Wow, it's pink and it tastes like sweet strawberry.”The children said surprisedly.

After eating, the children ran up to me and asked if they could eat it again and every day?

The children who grew up in the countryside do have limited conditions in many aspects. Maybe they have never been to the amusement park, maybe they don't have many toys, and maybe their daily intake of nutrition is very simple, but these have not affected their happy childhood.

What's more, many caring people pay attention to them -- NutriGo ensures us grow up healthily and happily together!
