On January 4， 2016, a supervisory group of Mrs. Du Jingjing，Foreign Capital Poverty Alleviation Project Management Center of Yunnan Province Foreign Cooperation Division Division Chief, Mr. Li Huiyun， Section Chief of Foreign Capital Poverty Alleviation Project Management Section of Lincang City, Mrs. Chen Yingyi, Deputy County Mayor of Zhenkang County and Mr. Mu Zhengxian, Director of  Poverty Alleviation and Development Office of Zhenkang County came to supervise and visit Humana People to People (HPP) Zhenkang Preschool project. Siri Holmebakk, HPP Kunming Office Project Director and Li Jiancai, POF Project Sector Manager accompanied them.

Besides interacting and discussing with local project officers, the group also visited 3 Preschool classes (Xiangzhuanba POF, Shuabuchang POF and Taozizhai POF). They observed the classroom education and interviewed Parents Committee members and village leaders to know their ideas and opinions on POF. They encouraged villagers and parents to provide good advices and suggestions about POF. They were very satisfied with what they had seen and expressed that they would continue to support the project and solve relevant problems.

On the afternoon of January 5, the supervisory group and HPP staff had a conclusion meeting in the county government meeting room. They summarized the visits and discussed about POF’s current operation situation and the support the project needs. In the meeting, they not only acknowledged POF’s achievement and value, but also preliminarily discussed about the project’s further development and interdepartmental cooperation. Through improved cooperation between education bureau, poverty alleviation and development office, township governments, village committees, and natural village groups , we hope the project would gain more efficient and sustainable development in the future.
