On September 9, 2025, the launch ceremony for the Tengchong Banqiao Preschools of the Future (POF) Project was held at the Banqiao Preschool Class in Houqiao Town in Tengchong City. Participants included Chen Weiguo, Secretary of the Central School of Houqiao Town, Yang Chunbo, Project Manager, Wang Liping, Preschool Class Teacher, 19 children and their parents.

At the launch meeting, Project Manager Yang Chunbo first detailed the project model and core components of the "Preschools of the Future" (POF) initiative. Subsequently, Chen Weiguo, Secretary of the Central School of Houqiao Town, delivered a speech. He emphasized the need for the school, kindergarten, and parents to actively collaborate in implementing the POF Project to jointly advance preschool education development in Houqiao Town. He also expressed sincere gratitude to Boehringer Ingelheim and HPP for their support of rural preschool education. Finally, Secretary Chen Weiguo officially announced the launch of the preschool class and presided over the plaque-awarding ceremony. Parents also shared their gratitude and expectations for the project, their simple words filled with genuine care for their children's growth.

During the event, the project manager organized the on-site installation of hardware facilities provided for the preschool class, such as corner cabinets, televisions, and audio equipment. Play-based teaching materials for areas like puzzles, reading, and construction were also arranged. The children explored the new teaching aids curiously, their eyes shining with interest.

Following its support for the POF project in Qiaojia County, Boehringer Ingelheim (China) Investment Co., Ltd. continues its commitment to sustainable development for generations to come by supporting the Tengchong Banqiao Preschools of the Future Project in Houqiao Town. This effort aims to unlock further potential in rural education, ensuring every child can thrive in a nurturing environment.

Project Introduction:

The Tengchong Banqiao Preschools of the Future (POF) Project is supported by Boehringer Ingelheim (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and jointly implemented by HPP and the Tengchong Education and Sports Bureau, assisting in the execution of the "One Village, One Preschool" policy. The project focuses on early education by improving preschool classroom facilities and teaching aids, providing regular professional training for teachers, and offering ongoing supervision to address challenges in daily teaching activities. Additionally, parent committees are established to conduct training and promote home-preschool collaboration. Emphasizing play-based teaching, the project supplies tools such as teacher management kits and instructional materials to expand access to rural preschool education and enhance its quality, ensuring more children receive high-quality early learning.
