I have heard that Yan Kezhu, a teacher in the Preschool of The Future in Fatu Village, Qiaojia County, often shares some short videos of children's daily and teaching in her TikTok.

I was also curious to find her TikTok with other colleagues and ready to see what actually happened.

Name in the TikTok: Rural Preschool Teacher

Introduction in the TikTok: a rural preschool teacher

who carefully records the growth of preschool teachers and children,

and regularly updates finger plays, finger tuts , etc,

to play games and grow with children...

Have a good look at it! As expected, she is exactly an Internet celebrity among rural teachers!

In the TikTok, Teacher Yan will share the scenes of having class for children in preschool from time to time, and the topped video "Dressing" won more than 10,000 "likes". Besides, in her spare time, she made some videos of simple finger plays and finger tuts for children and shared them on the her TikTok.

These interesting videos remind me that Teacher Yan must be a very interesting person!

The Preschool of The Future in Fatu VillageI is a project supported by the World Bank for four years. Fortunately, I went to this preschool by chance and met Teacher Yan, who always interested me.

On the same day, I saw the picture book lesson and rhythm lesson given by Teacher Yan and another teacher. No matter which teacher is in class, children always actively cooperate and answer their questions. It is obvious that our preschool teachers are really popular among the children in the village.

After class, I asked Yan about the TikTok. However, she was embarrassed to answer that at first she just wanted to record what happened in the preschool by short videos. She likes recording life and work by short videos, and then uploading them to the TikTok.

Gradually, Yan regarded her hobby as a habit and gained many fans.

On her TikTok, parents commented that they could know about their children's daily life in  preschool through Yan's short video, so they expressed their support for this behavior. Even, some people commented that they really didn't know how to communicate and interact well with their children before, and they didn't know how to do finger games. They would learn with children after watching Yan's video.

This stiffened Miss Yan's determination to share continuously. In the new semester, Yan changed the name on the TikTok to "Teacher of the junior preschool" because she was in charge of it.

Through Yan's TikTok sharing, I saw a colorful preschool. The game-based teaching method had brought the children a happy childhood.

Thank Miss Yan, the rural preschool teacher for her careful recording, sharing and accompanying.

Project Introduction:

Xiaotian Preschool, Shuitang Preschool and Fatu Preschool are rural community preschools in Qiaojia county, run by World Bank Loan Yunnan Province Preschool Education Development Experimental Demonstration Project.  HUMANA PEOPLE TO PEOPLE Movement (Switzerland) Yunnan Office was commissioned by Qiaojia Education and Sports Bureau to provide consultancy for the rural community preschool project, helping to manage preschools and offer teacher training. The purpose of the rural community preschool project is to help poor children get rid of poverty——establish preschools in natural villages located in remote poverty-stricken areas,  renovate idle classrooms and activity rooms in local schools as classrooms, recruit locals and train them into teachers, as well as set up parents committees to assist schools and  project members in the management of preschools. Generally, children aged 3-6 years will be enrolled in the preschool to form classes with different ages, so that children in remote rural areas can be fully prepared for entering primary school by attending preschools.
