School Introduction:

On February 24, 2020, the National Red Army Primary School Construction Project Council agreed to name Luquan Xiuping Primary School as "Red Army Primary School of Luquan Yi and Miao Autonomous County of Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army" (Hongjianli Zi (2020) No. 4).  On April 30, 2020, after the National Red Army Primary School Construction Project Council decided to study, agreed to name the Kyaukpingdu Central Primary school as "Yunnan Luquan Kyaukpingdu Red Army Primary School" (Red Jianli character (2020) No. 12).  Taking "rooted in the fertile soil of red culture and inheriting the spirit of the Long March of the Red Army" as the core values and moral education target orientation, the author explores a way to innovate moral education work by using red resources.  

For the purpose of caring for the red education in Luquan and promoting the construction of red Army schools, yunnan Red Office organized 23 excellent principals and vice principals of Red Army primary schools to hold the first yunnan Red Army primary school principals exchange forum in Luquan.  

With the construction of campus culture as the starting point and the inheritance of the Long March spirit as the connotation, the paper explores a new way of moral education construction.  

The spirit of the Red Army's Long March is an important part of the Spirit of the Chinese nation.  The revolutionary flames sown by the Long March of the Red Army kept burning the flames of revolutionary struggle in Luquan.  The legendary story of the Long March has long been celebrated.  The heroic deeds and glorious images of the Red Army have been deeply engraved on the hearts of the broad masses of the people, inspiring and urging them to strive hard and forge ahead.

Project activities:

1) From September 2021 to January 2022, project personnel will carry out demonstration classes in school:  

Through the GAIA3 group's average frequency of one month, we carried out three demonstration classes to The Red Army Primary School in Jiaopingdu, Luquan County of the Chinese Workers and Peasants' Red Army, which enhanced the teachers' and students' awareness and knowledge of climate change and low carbon environmental protection.

 2) In October 2021, the project team led students to watch a documentary on low-carbon environmental protection:  

GAIA3 led the students to watch the documentary "Plastic Ocean" and called on them to protect the environment and reduce the use of single-use plastics.
