Kunming Metallurgy College is a full-time public college with a long history and distinctive characteristics, which focuses on engineering and simultaneously promotes engineering, management, arts, business and arts. It is a construction unit of high-level vocational colleges with Chinese characteristics.  National demonstration higher vocational college, national high-quality vocational college, Yunnan Provincial high-level higher vocational college construction project, Yunnan Provincial high-quality higher vocational college construction unit.  School was founded in 1952, long-term accumulation formation of excellent engineering school culture tradition and rich engineering, the engineering application characteristic, formed the abundant resources of high quality engineering education, and industry enterprises and regional economic and social development of each is higher, has trained more than 120000 graduates for the society, the school has made remarkable results.

Project Activities:

23/11/2020, the university launched the "Houyi Action" jointly launched by 7 universities in Yunnan to create a zero-carbon campus and carbon Commitment university linkage activity
