“The Federation for Associations Connected to the International Humana People to People Movement” comprises 29 independent national member organizations and representative offices in China and Laos, working in 46 countries. Our common agenda is to protect the planet, build communities and support people by connecting them with others in transformative programmes, unleashing their potential for positive change and action.

The Federation supports the members in delivering critical on-the-ground programmes across Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and South America.

This support includes programme development, project management and operations, financial management support and help to promote our common agenda and gain influence through important relationships and partnerships.

The activities of the Humana People to People movement are aligned with the UN 2030 Agenda. Together with the people in the communities and our numerous partners, we continue to stand by countries as they strive to meet the Sustainable Development Goals, creating lasting positive change in the process.

Humana People to People carried out 1,584 projects in 2023, in the sectors of sustainable agriculture and environmental protection, community development, health and education and second-hand clothing recycling and sales, with close to 16.3 million beneficiaries.

Humana People to People operates 82 education institutions, and since 1993 a total of 64,000 highly qualified primary school teachers in Mozambique, Angola, Malawi, Guinea Bissau, Zambia, D.R. Congo and India graduated successfully.18.9 million people donated 132,000 tons of second-hand clothes to Humana People to People in 2023, thus reducing 805,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
