From January 9 to 10, the 14th Philanthropy Festival and 2024 ESG Influence Conference were held in Beijing, jointly organized by Digital Central Network and Digital Central Public Welfare.
At the festival, Michael Hermann, the Chief Representative of HPP, was awarded the “2024 Hero of Philanthropy Award”, and HPP's ‘STEM-Green and Low-Carbon Development Education Program’ was awarded the “2024 Public Welfare Case of the Year Award”. During the event, Michael gave a keynote speech, introducing the basic information of HPP, the green low-carbon education and rural community climate adaptation programs that have been implemented and are currently being implemented, and called for everyone to pay attention to the impact of climate change on the human environment.
The HPP STEM-Green and Low-Carbon Development Education Program includes the implementation of low-carbon demonstration lessons, low-carbon student club activities, online climate change courses and science videos, campus waste recycling, and hardware support in Kunming and Tengchong City, Yunnan Province, aiming to increase the awareness and knowledge of teachers and students on climate change in schools.
Climate change concerns all mankind. HPP continues to explore and innovate in the field of climate change education with the hope that more people can recognize and participate in it, and use their own power to make the environment more friendly for human existence. This award is a recognition of the organization and Michael, and HPP will continue to work hard in the field of climate change and make even more outstanding achievements in the future.
