The Second Kindergarten in Xishan District, Kunming City is a full-time public kindergarten sponsored by the Xishan District Education and Sports Bureau. It was established in 1993 and was rated as a first-class kindergarten in Yunnan Province in January 2008. Originally located in the Palm Tree Camp Community of Xishan District, there are 8 teaching classes. Due to the dilapidated houses, the district Education Bureau coordinated and arranged. In September 2017, 5 classes were relocated to the West Campus of Chunyuan Primary School in Xishan District. There are 3 classes. Diverted to Yuntou Shangyuan Center Kindergarten. In 2020, there will be 9 teaching classes, 4 classes will be transferred to Xishan Kaiyuan Kindergarten in Kunming City for transition; in August 2021, it will be relocated to the central square of Helenbergh in the new park, covering an area of 7793 square meters and a building area of 6691 square meters; the scale of running a school It has increased to 13 teaching classes, with 428 children, covering an area of 18.2 square meters per student and a building area of 15.6 square meters per student. There are 65 faculty members and 28 on-the-job staff in the park. Since 2020, there have been 22 additional employed teachers, 9 temporary employees, and 6 security guards; 45 full-time teachers in the park, 100% of teachers and majors are counterparts, and teachers’ educational qualifications are up to standard. 100%; there are 5 senior teachers, 15 first-level teachers, and 6 second-level teachers. After the school joined the project, the teachers of the project entered the school on October 20 to carry out the first demonstration class in the fall semester of 2021. In the autumn semester of 2021, they entered the school to carry out the demonstration class "low carbon" series of activity courses 4 times.
