Kunming No. 17 Kindergarten is a public kindergarten founded in 1991 and directly under the management of Xishan District Education and Sports Bureau. In August 2018, with the great attention and support of the Xishan District Committee and the District Government, the kindergarten was relocated to Fenghuang Yujing Garden in Fuhai District, Xishan District. The current new kindergarten covers an area of 7039.63 square meters, with supporting activity rooms, dormitories, toilets, wood workshops, clay workshops, living workshops, picture book studios, creative art studios, small theaters, and outdoor sand pools, pools, and planting. It is a modern kindergarten with wide venue, unique style and well-equipped facilities.

The kindergarten has more than 80 faculty members, 17 teaching classes, 48 full-time teachers, and 509 children in the kindergarten. The teacher-student ratio in the kindergarten is 1:6, with 4 municipal-level subject leaders and key teachers, 5 municipal-level rookies, 9 district-level subject leaders, district-level key teachers, and 3 district-level rookies; " 1 "Spring City Famous Teacher", 1 "Xishan Famous Teacher", 3 "Kunming Famous Head Teachers", 1 "Most Beautiful Head Teacher", and 2 "Good Teachers Around You". At present, 100% of teachers in the park are qualified in Mandarin, and 100% of teachers and related staff are qualified.

4. Project Activities

1) On October 15, 2021, the project team members will enter the park one after another to give demonstration classes. So far, 3 demonstration classes have been carried out.

Then show the impact of global warming from animations and videos. Introduced the theme "Earth Fever" from Doctor Earth's Diagnosis. Let the children touch the icebergs (frozen molds) one by one through sensory perception (vision, touch, taste) and interactive sessions to feel cold and warm. Bring young children's awareness of melting glaciers closer.
