Biji Xuxiake Center School in Xishan District, Kunming City is located in Gaoyao Village, Biji Community, Biji Sub-district Office, Xishan District. It is backed by the beautiful 4A-level National Forest Park - Xishan, and faces the mother lake of Kunming - Dianchi Lake. The education base - Xu Xiake Memorial Hall and Yang Sheng'an Temple are only separated by a wall. Xuxiake Central School is the first school in the country named after Xu Xiake. It has Xuxiake Campus, Bishui Campus and Changpo Campus under its jurisdiction, forming a school-running form of one school with three points. There are 94 teachers and 1542 students in the school, with a total of 40 teaching classes. The school covers an area of 7160 square meters, with a construction area of 1711 square meters.

The school was renamed in November 1994, and it was the first school in the country to be named after Xu Xiake. The school currently has 94 teachers. Introduction The twenty-four solar terms refer to the 24 specific seasons in the dry and branch calendar that represent seasonal changes. They are formulated according to the position of the earth on the ecliptic (that is, the earth's orbit around the sun). Each solar term corresponds to the earth's position in the ecliptic. A certain position reached every 15° of movement. The twenty-four solar terms is a knowledge system formed by observing the annual movement of the sun and recognizing the changing laws of seasons, climate, phenology and other aspects of the year. It divides the annual trajectory of the sun into 24 equal parts, and each equal part is a solar term, starting from the beginning of spring and ending in the great cold, and the cycle begins again and again. On November 30, 2016, the twenty-four solar terms was officially included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
